My name is Scott Manley and I’m the Co-Founder of Chicago-based, FYIndOut (http://www.fyindout.com), the central place for professionals to find and promote business information, applications and services. If you need to find an application or service for your business or you have a great application or service that you know adds value to a business, please go and check us out.
Quick Background: I left a great paying job with a great group to take a chance and start my own business. I’ve been an internet Product Manager for over 10 years and had an idea good enough to put my money where my mouth is. For more about me and my experience you can check out my Linkedin profile.
My business partner and I have gone through the same hard work and turmoil that most entrepreneurs go through and we’re both learning a lot along the way. I believe that part of the experience is sharing it with anyone that is interested. I know I’ve learned a lot from others so you could look at this as me trying to do my part to keep it going full circle.
I started this blog separate from our blog on FYIndOut for the sole purpose of documenting some lessons learned, cool ideas, random thoughts, and anything else that hits me along the way that probably aren’t suitable for our FYIndOut blog.
